BRAIN LAB
“Everything we do, every thought we've ever had, is produced by the human brain. But exactly how it operates remains one of the biggest unsolved mysteries, and it seems the more we probe its secrets, the more surprises we find.” (Neil deGrasse Tyson) Come join us as we learn about the different parts of the brain and the functions they perform. We will learn about and build some neurons that young scientists can take home. We’ll also learn the importance of cerebrospinal fluid and how it protects our brain. All activities and experiments are hands-on and multilevel. Children ages 5 through 13 are welcome. Come join us in the schoolroom for this exciting lab. Each lab class is limited to 10 students.

OCEANOGRAPHY
Come join us in the schoolroom as we dive into Oceanography! In this lab, we will learn about what makes up the ocean and its zones. We’ll experiment with liquid density and the water cycle. How does carbon dioxide affect the ocean? How does an octopus move? Is there more water pressure the deeper we go? We’ll answer those questions through numerous hands-on experiments as we explore the ocean’s mysteries. All activities and experiments are hands-on and multilevel. Children ages 5 through 13 are welcome. Come join us in the schoolroom for this fun-filled, exciting lab. Each lab class is limited to 10 students.
