OCEANOGRAPHY
Come join us in the schoolroom as we dive into Oceanography! In this lab, we will learn about the our great oceans. We’ll experiment with liquid density to make ocean zones. We’ll learn how the ocean plays a big part in the water cycle. What happens to the water pressure as you dive down into the ocean depths? How does an octopus move? We’ll answer those questions through numerous hands-on experiments as we explore the ocean’s mysteries. All activities and experiments are hands-on and multilevel. Children ages 5 through 12 are welcome. Come join us in the schoolroom for this fun-filled, exciting lab. Each lab class is limited to 10 students.

BUTTERFLIES & MOTHS
Don’t you just love butterflies? I absolutely love teaching about Monarch Butterflies. Monarchs are the Texas state insect, and they are the only butterflies that migrate to Mexico each year. My goal is to have live monarch caterpillars and butterflies to observe although I can’t guarantee at what stage they will be in … We will also learn about Painted Ladies (butterflies) and about silk moths. I love silk moths and their history! Come join us as we learn about life cycles and benefits of butterflies and moths. Lots of fun, hands-on experiments and activities. Each class is limited to 10 students.
